Three ways in
Demand first
Pick a category. Market data finds the brands already selling well through many resellers, then Claude finds where to buy them.
Region scan
"Pet supply distributors within 100 miles of Columbus, Ohio." Google Maps finds the local houses; each one is checked and rated.
Check a brand
"Is Scanpan a wholesale opportunity for me?" Who sells it, whether the brand or Amazon controls the listing, and who carries it.
What you get back
- Open brands, with the reason: top seller's share, Amazon on the listing or not, the brand's own store, MAP flags.
- Doors, rated: 🟢 easy (prepaid or COD, online sellers welcome), 🟡 application or references needed, 🔴 skip (storefront required, no marketplace sellers), with the deciding line quoted.
- 📍 Local or 🌎 National: a distributor near you, or a brand's own wholesale program that ships anywhere. In niches that mostly sell brand-direct (kitchenware, beauty, supplements, toys), it tells you before spending searches on a radius.
- What to order first for each brand, and whether you're allowed to sell it (checked against your own Amazon account in Opero3P).
- Application answers filled in from your business profile, ready to copy. Your tax ID and bank details are never handled.
Saved where you work
With your OK, brands go to Outreach → Brands and suppliers to Relationships → Suppliers (Wholesale, not applied yet), linked to each other. A brand's page shows its suppliers with the door, your account status (Not applied → Applied → Approved) and an Apply ↗ button. Filter suppliers by 📍 Local or 🌎 National. Anything saved can be undone.
What it runs on
| You have | What it uses |
|---|---|
| SmartScout connector | Full version: brand revenue, seller concentration, Amazon's share, best-selling products. |
| Keepa connector | Sellers, Amazon on the listing and price history from Keepa. |
| Just Opero3P | Your watched storefronts, Bob Sourcing and your gating results. |
Works best with the Claude in Chrome extension, which lets Claude search Google Maps in your own browser for local distributors. Without it, Claude falls back to web search and finds fewer of them.
Questions
How do I find wholesale suppliers near me for Amazon?
With Opero3P's Wholesale Finder skill in Claude: ask for a category, a location and a radius. It searches Google Maps (through the Claude in Chrome extension), checks each distributor's terms, rates how easy the account is to open, and saves the good ones in Opero3P.
How do I know if a brand is open for wholesale on Amazon?
Wholesale Finder checks who sells it: if one reseller, the brand's own store or Amazon holds most of the sales, it is marked closed. Brands with many resellers and no Amazon are the open ones.
Do I need SmartScout?
No. It works with SmartScout, with Keepa, or with Opero3P alone. SmartScout gives the most market data.
Does it apply to distributors for me?
No. It finds the application page and prepares your answers; you apply yourself.
Is Wholesale Finder included?
Yes, for Opero3P members and during the 14-day trial. The skill loads its instructions from Opero3P, so you always run the latest version.
