Who we are

Bob for Chrome is a Chrome browser extension developed by Quickmitts LLC, the company behind Opero3P. Contact: rob@opero3p.com.

Where Bob for Chrome runs

Bob for Chrome runs automatically only on these websites:

• amazon.com product pages (/dp/ and /gp/product/) — to show the Bob panel for the product on the page. It reads the page's ASIN, title, brand, main image, price and product barcode (UPC/EAN).
• sellercentral.amazon.com — only Amazon's FBA Revenue Calculator pages (/revcal, /revcalpublic and /hz/fba/profitabilitycalculator). It reads the ASIN and fee values shown there when you click Send to Opero3P.
• opero3p.com — to receive your sign-in token when you click Connect, to deliver supplier-page scan results into the app, and to open a lead's pages together when you click the 🚀 button on a lead.

During the transition from our previous brand (SellerStack3P), Bob for Chrome also retains host access to sellerstack3p.com so users on cached pages continue to work. This domain will be removed in a future version.

Supplier and other websites — only when you ask

Bob for Chrome has no standing access to any other website. It reads a supplier's page only when you ask it to, by clicking the Bob for Chrome toolbar icon or choosing an Bob for Chrome item from the right-click menu, and only the tab you are on. On that page it reads:

• The product's name, price and barcode (UPC/EAN/GTIN), to compare it with the Amazon listing
• For "Scan this page for products": the titles, prices, barcodes and links of the products listed on that page
• The page's address, if you choose to save it as the product's supplier link

What data Bob for Chrome sends to Opero3P

All data goes to your own Opero3P account and nowhere else, except the service calls described under "Services Bob for Chrome uses" below.

Product lookups (History)

Each time the panel shows a product, Bob for Chrome records a lookup in your workspace's History:

• The ASIN, product title, brand and image
• The price, the cost you entered, Amazon's fees, and the resulting profit and ROI
• The number of sellers on the listing, if it was checked
• The name of the website you were on (for example amazon.com or a supplier's site name) — not the full page address
• Who looked it up (your Opero3P name, or the "Sourced by" name selected in the panel), and when

History lets you and your team find products again and shows each team member's sourcing activity to the workspace owner. It is visible only to members of your Opero3P workspace.

Things you choose to save

When you click a button in the panel, Bob for Chrome sends only what that button needs:

• Add to catalog — ASIN, title, brand, image, price
• Save as lead / Update lead — ASIN, title, brand, cost, sale price, the supplier page address, and the "Sourced by" name
• Log purchase — date, supplier, quantity, unit cost, discount, order number, coupon code, cash back sources and percentages, status, and the supplier page address
• Supplier link — the address of the supplier page you are on
• Add brand — the brand name
• Prep default — the per-unit prep fee you set for a prep center
• Scan this page — the product titles, prices, barcodes and links read from the page
• Send to Opero3P (Revenue Calculator) — ASIN, product name and image, item price, fulfillment fee, referral fee and storage fee

Services Bob for Chrome uses

To show the panel, your Opero3P account calls these services on your behalf. Bob for Chrome itself does not send your data to them directly, except where noted.

• Amazon — through the Amazon seller account you connected in Opero3P, to check gating (whether you can sell a product) and to get fee estimates. When you ask to see a listing's sellers, the extension also reads Amazon's public offer listing for that ASIN.
• Keepa — for price and sales-rank charts, market data (sales rank, Buy Box, lowest offers, estimated sales, hazmat, size tier, variations) and storefront look-ups, using the Keepa API key you saved in Opero3P. Only the ASIN or seller ID (with your key) is sent to Keepa. Storefront look-ups are sent from your browser directly to Keepa; the rest go through your Opero3P account.

What Bob for Chrome stores in your browser

Bob for Chrome uses Chrome's own extension storage, on your device:

• Your authentication token for your Opero3P account, the email address it belongs to, and when you connected (chrome.storage.local)
• Panel preferences: position, minimized state, chart range, selected prep center, cash back choices, and the "Sourced by" name
• Research tab groups: when you use Find it or the 🚀 button, the product's ASIN, title, brand, price, cost, image and Amazon address are remembered against the Chrome tab group so the toolbar knows which product you are sourcing (chrome.storage.session, which Chrome clears when the browser closes)
• Short-lived hand-offs between the panel, the toolbar and the app, such as a price you sent from a supplier page or a finished page scan, which are removed once delivered

You can clear your sign-in at any time by clicking Disconnect in the Bob for Chrome popup, or clear everything by removing the extension from Chrome.

Authentication and security

The authentication token is generated by Opero3P after you sign in. It lets Bob for Chrome act only within your own Opero3P workspace, and only as far as your role in that workspace allows. It cannot read your account password or payment information. Tokens expire after one year, after which you'll be asked to reconnect.

All communication between Bob for Chrome and Opero3P happens over HTTPS.

What Bob for Chrome does NOT do

• It does not read your Amazon password or login credentials.
• It does not access your Amazon orders, customers, inventory reports, or any Seller Central pages other than the FBA Revenue Calculator.
• It does not read or record pages on websites you have not asked it to look at, and it does not record full page addresses in History.
• It does not save leads, catalog items, purchases or supplier links without your click.
• It does not include analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts.
• It does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it for anything other than running your Opero3P account.

Permissions explained

Bob for Chrome requests the following Chrome permissions:

• storage — to save your sign-in and panel preferences on your device.
• activeTab and scripting — to open the panel or scan a page on the tab you are on, only when you click the toolbar icon or a right-click menu item. They give no access to other tabs or to any page in the background.
• contextMenus — to add Bob for Chrome items to the right-click menu, such as "Scan this page for products".
• tabGroups — to put the Amazon and supplier pages for one product into a named Chrome tab group when you click Find it or the 🚀 button on a lead.
• Host permission for amazon.com — to show the panel on Amazon product pages and, when you ask, read a listing's public offers.
• Host permission for sellercentral.amazon.com — to read the fee values on Amazon's FBA Revenue Calculator pages and add the "Send to Opero3P" button.
• Host permission for opero3p.com — to receive your sign-in token, send data to your account, deliver scan results into the app, and receive the 🚀 button request.
• Host permission for sellerstack3p.com — transitional, retained during the rebrand from our previous domain. To be removed in a future version.

Data retention

Data sent to Opero3P is kept as part of your Opero3P account for as long as your account is active. You can edit or delete catalog items, leads, purchases and supplier links at any time in the Opero3P app. History entries are kept with your workspace. To have History or any other data removed, email rob@opero3p.com. If you close your Opero3P account, all associated data is removed.

Children's privacy

Bob for Chrome is intended for use by Amazon sellers, who must be 18+ to have a Seller Central account. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Bob for Chrome after updates constitutes acceptance.
